Former teacher is accused of giving alcohol to students

I posted this because I found it intersting that they say its hard to fire teachers but this teacher was caught and he had charges pressed against him. The aritcale dose not say weither or not if he has been able to go back to the school but its most likely that he will not be returning to the school.

Education

As we were watching the documentary in class today I felt that its true about the moeny. The schools say give us more money yet the grades and the studnet test grades don't  seem to make a real differcance . It seems the schools are getting greedy and the know that we will give them more money becasue we want the best educaiton we can have for are children . When in reality it seems that the more moeney the schools get the wosre things get because people seem to think we have money we can do anyhting and that simply is not the cause . Even thought money would help the shcools to open more programs it dose not help the students that are currently learing it dosen't bring theri grades up or even theri test scores sometime it may even lower them . So i left class today with this qestion in my mind is money really an issuse with schools or not ? the choice is yours to decied

America's smartest states

I found this intresting that the smaller states are in the top ten smartest states of america . I was not suprised that Califiorna was not on here . I belive that we are not one of the top ten or even fall under the top 15 with are education . I found this very intrsting that most of these sates have a smaller poputaion than Californa.

Education First for Barbara Bush

I found this vedio intersrtng because she dose have a point that the goverment is not the only thing that has an impact on education. She thinkins that parents should be parents and they should help motviate with them show them that it can benfit them very much . She also talks about how we shouldent push if they do not pass them it needs to be done untill they lean . Class Desciousion

I think this desciousion was a little harder to have becuase everyone has theri differnt veiw ponts on reglion and not everyone agreeded with everyone else , there was a lot of tention. I think people where afraid to speak what theri vewies on this were i was . At first i dident want to talk becuase i thought that the smallest thing would start the descision in to more of an agument . Overall I think the descioin went better than i thought it was orginaly going to go .

Why did no one object to the "Pentagon mosque"?

I was reading this articale after today in class Mr. palo said that there was a mosque in the pentagon i was shocked i never new that . Mosque Opponents Leaving Ground Zero Shops Alone

People say that they are a bit offend that there is sex shops and other things there that are x rated so close to ground zero also. They find it a bit odd that people want to build something that is suppoed to be of spirtual with all the things and the type of stores there. People are not offend that they want to build a church and one guy said he was not mad at them but mad at thoes who killed his son yes .

What the mosque issue is really all about

Many people think that the goverment is somehow connected to the whole mosque issuse they think that somehow the goveremnet is the ones that want to set up the mosque so close to ground zero . they argue that are other bussiness and such close to ground zero . they also state that the mosque is being set up by a privite gruop and that the goverment has nothing to do with it.

State of the union project

 

I made support the biggest word because even though people don’t see that Obama is getting places he needs support. Anyone needs support in what they do. The second biggest word was technology, we use it everywhere. Even in one of the videos they use techno to help the health care plan and that word stuck out to me because we use it every day. Next i picked successful. To do anything in life, this is a feeling you want. When Obama was talking it seemed that he was successful in talking about what he thought were right, and i felt that he was successful from that. Another word I choose to put bigger was Love i believe that anyone and everyone needs love, when Obama was talking about the military, it made me hank of love and all the loved ones that are at war for us.  I picked out challenges also, because Obama faces major challenges every day to try and overcome the fighting of the healthcare reform. Also life is a challenge and you do whatever you can do win and succeed.  Responsibility was another word I used because i believe that as the present Obama does have a responsibility to the people, but some of us think that he does not follow thru with that respsoiblty. This word popped out for me because I have been called respospial by many and i think im myself responsible. I picked the word dream, because to believe in something you dream about it and then the more you think the more you want something to come true. Dream inspired me because you dream big and then you only go up. Willing, what are you willing to do to? In the speech it got me thinking what are we willing to do for what we want or are we just going too complained about the things go rung. Believe you got to believe that things happen for a reason, I picked believe because I believe that things take time and you have to believe in them. I choose efforts because everything you need to put efforts the president had to put efforts into his work also. Agreements sometimes people disagree. I used agreements because sometimes people need agreements to get their work done. I used complete because anything started must be complete. That’s just what Obamas doing he’s completing what he started. Painful was one of the other words I felt really gone with the speech. Some people view this as a painful, but it’s also helpful all the same. Messy the things Obama spoke about reminded me of a huge mess that is just messy.  Promise this word spoke to me Obama made promises and he is attempting to make them right. Forget is another word that stuck out. Obama didn’t forget about what he was trying to do the others were against him though. I choose impact because Obamas speech had a big impact on me and I learned things I never knew. Teach I learned many things from the state of the union speech that I didn’t know about.  Change everyone says it’s time for a change. I believe that Obama sad the time for change is known. I belie that he’s going to make changes. Degree every day we are able to make progress more and more progress. I think the progress is always getting better.  Choice we all make choices I picked this word because Obama was talking about the choices and the choices he made. Passion I picked passion because when Obama spoke he seemed to speak with much passion. Profit is another word this word popped out because I profited from the speech I learned many new things that are happening.  I think the speech was all about quality because Obama showed great quality in his work and when he spoke. When I was listing to the speech I became more educated and that is why I picked educated as one of my words.  Discipline in his speech. I felt that he knew what he was doing and he seemed that he was disciplined in doing the speech correctly.  Success this is the word stuck out for me because Obama is showing his success with all the struggles and he still has success. Challenges were another word that stuck out to me. Obama faced a lot of challenges and he was still able to work thru them.  The speech was meaning full to me and that is why meaning full was another one the of words I picked
